Oh Lisa!!!! When Ryann was just a week old, I was nursing her on the couch while Nora was upstairs "napping". I heard footsteps behind me, then, "Mommy, my hands." I looked behind me and saw Nora with diaper rash cream from head to toe - and I mean literallly. I never got it out of her really cute outfit... You're totally right about the quiet:) And I'm sure vaseline is as hard to get off of stuff as diaper rash cream - good luck with that:)
LOLOL! Well I hope you aren't still trying to get the vaseline out of the couch. I remember covering myself in it for my bellycast and it was near impossible to get off and out of everything.
Maybe she had a hairball, isn't that what they give to cats in that situation ;) And good luck with that next poopy diaper!
Lol!!! Too bad you couldn't get a picture of that!!! I know it probably wasn't funny at the time, but you have to admit, it's funny now! How'd her tummy like that one? Silly Emma! Love you!
I am a great many things: a "mom in progress" to three beautiful girls; a wife to my best friend; a daughter of Christ; a writer; a lover of good coffee; a recovering perfectionist; and a hopeful romantic learning to find peace and joy in God alone. This is my story and His story.
All three of my children are gifts from God, but in 2010, He gave our family a precious blessing named Brooklyn who has Spina Bifida. Through her life, God is shaping our family into something more beautiful. He has given us a testimony to share, and we want to share it.
Here are a few selected posts about our journey so far...but there are lots more if you want to go searching :) Hope
