Convince Me, PLEEEEASE!

Okay, so please give me some reasons why Emma does not need this $40 dress for her 1st birthday:

Sure, we're saving for a house, have only one full-time income, and she'll only wear it once, but give me some REAL reasons.

Didn't I learn my lesson from the Easter dress??? And since when did I become so girly? I mean this thing has bows... BOWS people! I distinctly remember removing those from my own wedding dress...

that is the cutest dress ever...i know i am not helping right now, but i know i would buy it...sorry...i can't convince you not to buy it

I say BUY IT and send the bill to grandpa bernard ;o) But please tell them to put 'Emma' on it. She'll look adorable - of course, she doesn't need a silly dress for that...if you should decide to be boringly responsible

Kim and Jana...totally took my answer!!!
I say do what Grandma Bernard says...that's what Grandmas and Grandpas are for...to buy 'unnecessary', but memorable items for our little angels and save us the mommy guilt. :)
Oh, and if you have more children and don't buy the same dress/personalized outfit for them on their 1st birthdays, heaven help you when they figure it out! :)

Hi, I'm Carol and I linked here from JD...

I just scrolled down to some pictures of Emma. Umm...she would look absolutely adorable in that dress for her 1st birthday! Those blue eyes, the bows are so cute. From a mom that loves pink and has no girls: if grandpa bernard won't cover it, I'll pitch in! I do hope little Emma is feeling better.

Buy it! but it! And then sell it on Ebay! There are lots of little Emma's who can love it again. In the end, it will cost you $10.

(BTW, I'm Kim's sis)
